Gezim Hajdari - Three poems that touch my strings -

Singing my body this
born from this cold space

promises that nothing in the night visions of white temples
I recall in a vacuum

I dreamed
solitary fields to look for signs
confused and understand the form of heaven who loves the depths

do not know why I look to the long thin line of the horizon

or tops with bare birds blacks

where you hide what you do not I?

on algae or lichens flickering white? not leave anything!
(from: "This Body", 1999) ** ** **

Give me your shadow

for my shadow that feels the cold in his name

teach your silence my
madness he needs to invent a God

let me know the snow!

want to hide under his skin
the words never said

(from: "This Body", 1999) ** ** **

I can not break free from the darkness of the stones offered by
My Time
di fango e ombre

Sulla collina di sabbia
gli uccelli gridano
arrochiti

Avrebbe senso ritornare
nel tuo sangue?

Come in altri tempi
ripeto parole di pietra

e volti sconosciuti rimpiangono
un territorio
svanito per sempre.

(da. "Corpo presente", 1999)
