sun worshiper, worshiper of sandbanks

fanatic of the sea.
He never talked to anyone
illiterate believer only in the lives alone in his drag
disturbing
the first signs of dawn to sunset
funds. My father
as it was in turbid
in this world without asking anything to anyone
tonight declined over time
deep in heaven that he looked great
for hours in hot and loved
universes with tough privacy . I'm not sad
I am happy happy
resent me in everything
impetuous
hours with his hand in our kitchen
black and windowless.
His singing, more than a song and it was his

I raise with all the strength of the wounds of love in tatters
hours against these masters of hungry

Brugnaro Ferruccio, Porto Marghera workers in the early fifties, was born in 1936 in Mestre, it is self-taught and lives in Spinea (VE). He was a member for many years to the works council Montefibre-Montedison, and has been for decades one of the protagonists of the struggles of the labor movement. By 1965, Brugnaro begins to distribute in neighborhoods, schools, among workers in the fight, his first mimeographed poetry, stories, thoughts. It is one of the first in Italy to promote poetry in the form of a flyer. Among the murals Orgosolo you can still read his poems written in the seventies. His work has appeared in many magazines. Part of the writings, pulled the mimeographed and distributed as flyers, sono stati raccolti dall'Editore Bertani e pubblicati nei volumi: "Vogliamo cacciarci sotto", 1975; "Dobbiamo volere", 1976; "Il silenzio non regge", 1978. Nel 1977 un gruppo di sue poesie è stato musicato dal cantautore Gualtiero Bertelli. Brugnaro è presente in numerose antologie, tra cui "Il pubblico della poesia", "Poesie e realtà", "Scrittori e industria", "Centanni di letteratura", "del dissenso", "L'altro novecento. Con altri lavoratori", nel 1980 dà vita a Milano ai quaderni di scrittura operaia "abiti-lavoro". Nel 1984 esce "Poesie" per conto della Cooperativa Punti di Mutamento. Nell'ottobre del 1990 vengono fatti affiggere sui muri di Venezia e di Mestre oltre cinquecento manifesti con una sua poesia contro la guerra. Lo stesso manifesto nel gennaio del 1991 è stato affisso sugli spazi pubblici di Roma. Nel 1993 esce il volume "Le stelle chiare di queste notti", Editore Campanotto. Nel 1996 su Viceversa, una rivista di Barcellona, appare un gruppo di suoi testi poetici con traduzione in spagnolo di Carlos Vitale. Nel 1997 undici sue poesie, tradotte in inglese da Kevin Bongiorni e Reinhold Grimm, vengono incluse nel n. 29 di Pembroke Magazine, una pubblicazione internazionale dell'Università del Nord Carolina. Nel 1998 esce negli Stati Uniti, per conto della casa editrice Curbstone, "Fist of Sun", un volume antologico della sua produzione poetica con traduzione del poeta americano Jack Hirschman. Nell'ultimo decennio sue poesie sono state pubblicate anche in Germania e in Inghilterra. Nel 2002 appare in Francia, a cura dell'editore Editinter, il testo antologico "Le Printemps murit lentament" nella traduzione del poeta Jean - Luc Lamouille e in Italia l'editore Campanotto pubblica "Ritratto di donna". Nel 2004 è uscito in Spagna il libro "No puedo callarte estos dìas" nella traduzione di Teresa Albasini Legaz. Nel 2005 esce a Berkeley "Portrait of a woman", tradotto da Jack Hirschman. Suoi testi vengono pubblicati anche su varie riviste e giornali internazionali.
Ha partecipato alle celebrazioni per i 75 anni di Jack Hirschman, organizzate da Casa della poesia, il 13 dicembre 2008 e parteciperà a settembre 2009 agli Incontri internazionali di poesia di Sarajevo.
